The camera’s lens itself is a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens which improves image quality, increases sensitivity in low light and image grain, and is extremely quick and responsive. Again Sony have come up with a brilliant solution – your camera will take three shots at three different exposures, and then overlap them into one single shot, enabling you to get the maximum detail from both the highlights and the shadows in your picture.
There are many other clever features and modes which you can utilize depending on your situation to get the best possible picture – one that will be crystal clear, razor-sharp and bursting with color.

Interestingly for a point and shoot compact, there were a lot of favorable remarks regarding how this Sony dealt with low light settings.
Cons
As a potential buyer, you’ll need to be aware that you will have to buy a Memory Card separately as the camera does not come with one.
Some individuals found it hard to get accustomed to the camera not having an independent battery charger. They discovered that this could possibly be problematic if you didn’t have extra batteries or a computer around to recharge it.
